Friday 29 June - preparing for the RYA visit, a trip to Weldoms

Spent most of the morning cleaning the boat in preparation for Saturday (when Iain would be using Kanumbra as part of his RYA test for setting up the Noble Marine Boat Training School). Listened to the Hawks-Blues game on the Internet (Hawks won 120-70), then went over the schedule for Saturday with Iain. Went shopping to Weldoms (like Bunnings in Australia) for materials for new gangplank. Staff very helpful in cutting and trimming board to fit the aluminum ladder we bought. Also bought shade cloth and bungie cords for back deck screens. Got pizzas from Sunbeam Cafe and ate them on Tarn Quai while listening to a performance in French in a small circus tent in the Uvarium Park.
