Headed off early (9.30am) for Pommevic. Stopped in the shade near Lac Le Bessou for lunch. Very hot day, especially when standing in the sun with the ropes in the locks. Very quiet day, so spent time thinking about the construction details for the new front deck with the table over the dogbox. Surprisingly, we found a space on the dock at Pommevic (another first!), and tied up for the night. We went to explore Pommevic that evening and were astounded to find it empty. The boulangerie was up for rent, the bar was closed and no other shops were open. Rita eventually found a restaurant that was willing to sell us some drinks and half a loaf of bread. So back to the boat for a late night dinner of pasta, after it had cooled down a bit. Slept in salon with fan going all night.
