Because of a threatening weather forecast, we decided to stay one day more in Besancon, so Rita got busy writing her report and I worked on this blog. We went into town for dinner at a Thai Restaurant, then returned to the boat. While Rita returned to her report writing, I started working on an Excel problem, where I was trying to count the number of times that (unknown) words appeared in a series of Excel cells. As I worked on this, I started to feel a little queezy in the stomach (perhaps as a reult of the Thai dinner). And it was at this time that I discovered that the toilet was not functioning correctly. Great timing!! So we had a restless night, which was not helped by late-night revellers in front of the Conservatory. Not exactly a day to be remembered.
