Having cut short our time in Southern England, we thought we would spend a few days in Northern England, for two reasons. First was to catch up with a friend from her days in Marysville back home, and secondly for a reason that didn't occur to me until we were driving north

Tues 6 June - summer, Brougham Hall, Ellen, Penrith, fuses, iPhone holders

Wed 7 June - Lowther Castle, history, daffodils, gardens, Utopia, pans, WTC final

Thurs 8 June - Craig, Carlisle Archives, Isaac, Blaetarn Farm, Hadrians Wall
