Rita received her last exam from Monash Uni for Semester 1 and set about doing the grading. In the late morning, we went to BUT in Castelsarrasin to look at mattresses, and while we knew the required size, we were unsure of whether we could get it onto the barge, especially if we chose our preferred inner-spring mattress, which is not as flexible as a foam mattress. So after checking out the range, it was back home to check on entrance dimensions.

Later in the day, Moissac was hit by another thunderstorm, after which we went out to MusicenZone to pick up a few items. Rita got a battery powered speaker/mixer, while I got an eBass so that I  could continue practicing when I got time on the barge. When we got home, I started with Watermelon Man, since possibly we may go to the Marciac Jazz Festival later in the year, where Herbie Hancock is playing. Maybe he’ll need some backup eBass players!!
