In the morning, Rita took all the guests on a tour of the Abbey and the Cloister - obligatory activities for all visitors to Moissac! In the afternoon, everyone headed out to Lac Damazan for a picnic and some swimming in the lake.

That evening, since we were in Damazan, we all went to the Damazan night market. Once again, the organisers asked when the Steel Band would return, we all bought some soggy chips, and generally had a good time, especially since the Eric Clapton cover band was playing.

We also met up with the usual barging mob, including Mark&Anne (from barge Anna), and Phil&Terrie (Mr & Mrs Pip).

That evening after we returned to Moissac, we said a sad farewell to Jan and Mareyne, who were leaving on an early train tomorrow to return to the Netherlands. We will miss them, as they are truly fun people.
