Wednesday 24 August - not much, Castelsagrat dinner
For most of today, this was another “nothing day”.
Howver, in the evening, we had dinner with Lea and Bernard Shaw at Castelsagrat, a little town to the north-west of Moissac near Montjoi. Castelgrat is a pretty town, well-known for its town square bordered by stone-arched covered walkways.
We first met Lea and Bernard six weeks ago, as we gave them our table as we were leaving the Uvarium Cafe. They had immediately asked us to dinner, but with one thing and another we had not been able to take them up on their offer till now. We are glad we did, as they turned out to be gracious and interesting hosts. Bernard’s background in film production, among many other things, gave us lots to talk about. Around midnight, we said goodbye and wound our way down the hill to return to Moissac.
