One of the somewhat nice things about coming home is that for the first few days you are "suffering" from jet-lag, and hence you tend to wake up much earlier than usual. For me, as a night-owl, this is a relatively rare experience, but it has the advantage that you get to see things you would not normally see, such as this brilliant sunrise over the Acheron Valley, and Oscar and the alpacas waiting to greet us in the early morning.
