After a short transit at Singapore, we headed on to Dubai just after midnight. Dubai Airport was pretty much like you see in all the pictures of modern Dubai. Lots of lights and shiny surfaces. The main terminal building(s) at Dubai were impressive structures, but just a bit too glitzy for my liking. The elevator banks, however, were impressive.
