Monday 9 July - cruising to Buzet-sur-Baise

Up early today since we needed to do some cruising to charge the batteries. Decided to head on to Buzet. Delayed a while as we had a coffee and long chat with John from Vertrouwen, and learned that he had taken over as Managing Director of the Vertrouwen partnership, after Roger van Dyken's health problems earlier in the year. We therefore mentioned the idea of referring students to Noble Marine Boat School to get their ICC certificates after they had done their training cruises on Vertrouwen. We left Agen at 10.30am and cruised through to Buzet, charging batteries up to 70%. Had dinner at Buzet dock cafe, with port captains Kevin and Sara, then went for a walk thru Buzet. Met John and his guests from Vertrouwen as they cycled thru Buzet, they having also travelled from Agen that day and moored just to the east of Buzet. Then it was ice cream and coffee for us at Cafe Commerce before heading back to the boat.
