Mon 4 Oct - SingAir response, lotsa birds and a ragondin, Newsreader
During the morning I got a response to my latest enquiry to Singapore Airlines saying that "your flights are all confirmed as of now on 14th Oct 2021. However, we cannot confirm that there will be seats available on that flight due to Australian Government COVID travel restrictions...". This is the same response as I have been getting for the past month, and leaves me no better informed as to whether I can actually fly home on that date. So, less than two weeks till my flight date, and not sure what to do. This situation is compounded because the Dijon Prefecture still holds our passports as part of the Carte des Sejour application. Decisions, decisions!
Once again, our boat was surrounded for much of the day by swans, geese, ducks, water hens, cormorants and herons, in addition to our favourite ragodin. In the evening I watched the final episode of Newsreader on ABC-iview, about a female newsreader covering iconic stories of the 1980's in Melbourne.
