Monday 26 June - websiting, Intermarche, walk, driving, sore throat
With the Festival des Voix finished for the year, it was time to get back to a few more mundane activities, so I spent much of the day working on this website, while Rita visited her friend Valerie to practice some music with her. In the late afternoon, we went out to Intermarche to restock the larder, and then in the evening we went for a walk along the canal up to the Cacor Viaduct. On the way back, we noticed this acacia tree and thought how much it reminded us of flowering trees in Australia.
Rita then went for some driving practice around town, still trying to get the hang of manual gears and a clutch. I went to bed relatively early with a sore throat, from too much singing at the Calypso Rose concert last night.
