Well, finally, today we are heading off on Kanumbra for a bit of barging. So in the morning, we did some last minute shopping, and then after lunch we were finally away. We had an uneventful trip west, although it was very good to be moving again, and then stopped for the night near Pommervic. We had stopped here because we had arranged to go to Auvillar with friends for a concert dinner, and they drove out from Moissac to Pommervic, where we met them and got a lift to Auvillar. The dinner was held in the old Grain Market, and the concert took place in various locations, starting in the church and then moving back to the Grain Market.

It was a packed house, so we were lucky we got there early and reserved a table (by spreading our stuff across the table!). Good food, wine, music and chatter, and around midnight we were driven back to Pommervic, where we said goodbye to our friends for a few weeks as we were to head west on Kanumbra in the morning
