Today was a relatively simple day. I contacted Terrie Chatfield, who is renovating an old house with her husband Phil near the town of Marmande, which is between Moissac and Bordeaux. I proposed that we drop in to see them on our way back from Bordeaux, since we were very interested in how they were proceeding. That timing would work with them, so now the plan was to take the train to Bordeaux (with our bikes), come up the Garonne on Hilda May, alight at Castets-en-Dorthe and ride to Marmande on our bikes (about 40km) to visit Terrie and Phil, then ride on to Marmande Gare and train it back to Moissac. So, Rita went up to the Moissac Gare to get the train tickets to and from Bordeaux. while I used the quiet day to catch up with some websiting.
