Wednesday 19 Aug - Jean-Baptiste meeting, river swim, music evening

After the Orca incident last night, we spent a disturbed night on Kanumbra listening to every strange sound outside, and not getting a good night’s sleep.

In the morning, we had a meeting with Jean-Baptiste at the house, where he explained the newly-installed security cameras, and how we could view outputs on our iPhone in Australia, and he also took us though how various systems in the house (heating, lighting etc) were controlled automatically with the domotique system. The house might be 100 years old on the outside, but it now contains lots of modern features on the inside.

In the afternoon, Rita went for her final swim in the River Tarn, and that night she went to a friend’s house for a musical evening with many of her Moissac musician friends.
