Thursday 11 Sept - Indian Summer, silicone sealing

The Indian Summer continued; after a wet and cool early summer, the weather has been good since the band arrived and showed no signs of abating just yet. In the morning, I sat on the barge updating this and other websites, but in the afternoon I decided that I had better get on with some maintenance work on the barge.
So while Rita went swimming in the Tarn, I started removing silicone and mildew from around the shower, in preparation for resealing all the corners.
In the evening Rita, Kay and Nora went up to L’Abbaye for dinner, but I reluctantly decided against going since something I had eaten in the last day or so was playing havoc with my stomach.
