Monday 2 July - quiet day in Moissac, fish'n'chips at the Quai at night

Iain let us know that the batteries would cost 1500euro (gulp!) and would not be here till Thursday morning. So, this required a few changes in plans, since we were planning to leave Moissac on Tuesday morning. Walked along the canal to the Tarn with Em, then got her to pose on the yacht next door.

In the afternoon, we went to Weldoms and Carrefour for more bits and pieces. Fish and chips night at the Quai that evening.  Met Graham from Effie, another Piper Barge moored next to us. Went down to the Tarn to play pétanque but our new boules sets were locked with plastic ties and we didn't have a knife! Not a particularly productive day.
