Friday 22 July - The Adventure Begins

After months of waiting, following our training courses in April, we finally arranged for 6 weeks in Europe in July-August, in between projects in Australia. Not that we had stopped work entirely: the laptops came along with us and we used whatever spare time and internet connections we had to keep on top of projects in Australia, to do some data analysis and to finish off some reports. But as they say, all work and no play makes Tony a dull boy!

We flew into Zurich, rented a car and made our way first to Bern where Rita's family lives. Her Mum had just shifted apartments and Rita was going to stay with her for a week to help with the moving and settling in.
